3 Vegas Golden Knights That Will Turn It Around Drastically
As expected, the Vegas Golden Knights have had a respectable three-game stretch to start the season. Sure, there was a devastating loss to the Anaheim Ducks. But the team is sitting pretty at 2-1-0 with four points. Hey, it could be much worse.
Anyways, the Golden Knights do have noteworthy stars killing it for the team. You have your usual suspects like Jack Eichel (one goal and five assists entering Tuesday's game against the Seattle Kraken) who are leading the charge. You also have surprising names like Victor Olofsson, who heads into that game with the team lead in goals scored (two).

But what about the players who are surprisingly... absent? I mean, we're going into the fourth game of the season as of this piece being put out. However, that doesn't mean that we shouldn't highlight the players who've gone MIA.
Still, these three names should rebound nicely for a strong campaign. Here are three Golden Knights to watch for after a quiet start.
1.) Mitch Marner
Scoring a goal against the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday was an incredible start for the Golden Knights superstar. He needed something to build on after going quietly in the first two games. Sometimes, it only takes a goal for a superstar like Marner to explode.
After all, the expectation is that he'll explode for more than two points. The winger has 92 career points in October and 126 career points in November. While he might look like a slow starter, the Golden Knights superstar should get it going when the season rolls on.
2.) Mark Stone
Did you know that Mark Stone entered Tuesday's game with as many points as penalty minutes (two)? That's a lower mark than expected, especially after posting 1.22 points per game last season. That also won't get the job done for the Captain or the Golden Knights, especially if they wish to win another Stanley Cup.
While his production actually takes a hit in the next month (68 career points with Vegas in October, compared to 40 career points in November), the good news is that the Winnipeg native is electric in December with 89 career points. Expect the Captain to rebound in a big way if he stays healthy.
3.) Tomas Hertl
You might not know this, but the Golden Knights center has only one power-play goal to start the season. He's been relatively quiet to start the season, although that will certainly change.
The Czech Olympian has 33 career points (16 goals and 17 assists) in January with the Golden Knights. Ironically, that's one of the worst months historically for the Golden Knights, although Hertl can drastically change that.
